Probably best to write to the Garmin map specific forum http://forum.openstreetmap.org/viewforum.php?id=26 He creates installers for the map sets, see: http://garmin.na1400.info/ The installer links are Windows executables that install with a double click. I don't know if his method uses all open-source tools though. To create your own installer you could consider using WiX [http://wix.sourceforge.net/] It would be good if we could make mkgmap create the needed XML file that could then be fed into WiX. ..Steve
