I agree with this. (Although I have not had a chance to test the
latest patch to see how it works.) Such an extension, would allow me
to catch cases such as the following:

  building=cathedral {create-point 0x2c0b} # Create "place_of_worship"
POI for cathedrals.

Of course, I don't want to be demanding. ;-)
