On a 2 GB, 2 GHz Intel Core 2 duo machine, a combined map of France, Germany, Switzerland, and Italy took about 45 minutes to compile. Without these patches, it took about 1 hour and 40 minutes. Sorry, I didn't test the patches separately, so I don't have data on the individual performance improvements. At any rate, with superficial testing, both patches seem to be stable. Thanks! Cheers.
