I think it's better to request that something extra gets > added rather than requesting that the extra stuff is removed. +1 I consider a parameter for wholesale POI creation just a workaround. - The automatic placement works only for very simple objects, if a user sets a POI manually, this placement will always be better - The POI creation creates duplicate POIs if there already is a (better) manual POI - A feature with as much impact as this should be controllable in a very detailed way in the style. I can think of many features where I would want it to add POIs and many where I would refrain from it. E.g. I have recently seen a castle with each building detailed as an area. The result was a forest of castle icons there. bye Nop
