Yes, that's very common. It would certainly be possible to add
an option to report ways that are close but not connected.

Back to roundabouts, I found a huge number of the flare roads with
either the wrong direction or not tagged as oneway. I am thinking
about extending the roundabout checking to detect those mistakes as
well.
