[mkgmap-dev] Splitter resolution and mapsource mouseover behaviour
From Mark Burton markb at ordern.com on Fri Jan 15 23:37:04 GMT 2010
Can someone please either explain or point me at some doc that explains the meaning of the splitter --resolution option: --resolution The resolution of the overview map to be produced by mkgmap. Default is 13 Does this force the tile boundaries to be rounded (not round in shape, but coords rounded to match the overview resolution). Is that how it works? I ask because I have noticed that on the Baltic map, the popup blurb you get when the mouse is over a map feature goes away near some tile edges and I suspect that having fooled around with the tile sizes, I have somehow borked the relationship between the tiles and the overview map. Thanks, Mark
