Use extened ones instead. I don't! I use 0x11, 0x12, 0x13 and 0x17. These don't appear in MapSource (6.15.6) but they appeared fine in the earlier version I had installed (which, however, had horifically slow drawing speed). I might try using extended types and see if that makes any difference and/or switching to 6.13.7 as you've recommended elsewhere.
