[mkgmap-dev] Ideas for via ways in turn restrictions
From Nakor Osm nakor.osm at gmail.com on Wed May 5 18:55:45 BST 2010
Hello, Not sure if this was ever mentioned/explored before. I looked at the document at http://svn.parabola.me.uk/display/trunk/doc/nod.txt which indicates that a turn restriction is in fact 3 nodes and 2 ways and at cgpsmapper documentation where they mention that you can have 3 roads restrictions using 4 nodes. Taking a concrete example, I was wondering if relation 275622<http://www.openstreetmap.org/browse/relation/275622>could be coded in the following manner in the NOD subfile: NODES: 62593962 <http://www.openstreetmap.org/browse/node/62593962>, 62593964 <http://www.openstreetmap.org/browse/node/62593964>, 62591266<http://www.openstreetmap.org/browse/node/62591266>, 62591273 <http://www.openstreetmap.org/browse/node/62591273> WAYS: 39800738 <http://www.openstreetmap.org/browse/way/39800738>, 41694496<http://www.openstreetmap.org/browse/way/41694496>, 8731732 <http://www.openstreetmap.org/browse/way/8731732> Unfortunately my knowledge of mkgmap/IMG file format prevents me of trying this but if someone wants to give it a try I would be happy to hear back from them. Thanks, N. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL: http://lists.mkgmap.org.uk/pipermail/mkgmap-dev/attachments/20100505/8539705c/attachment.html
