[mkgmap-dev] Adaptable paths for input and output files

Hi list,

I finally managed to rip some time apart to get the --output-dir option
done. I did it the pragmatic way Steve suggested (see last mail of this
thread).

I had no internet access over the last couple of days, thus I diffed
against r1657. I also attached the changed files, so merging should be not
a big issue.
