What I see happening is that, with your style, there are 17000+ roads with the name "[49847]FT". That routine is very slow with a large number of roads with the same name which are actually connected together. So it depends on your style only because these roads (paths) are all unnamed in the default style. But that is just the proximate cause of the hang, the real root cause must be elsewhere, as the trunk code does not have this very large number of paths with the same name. Hope that makes sense, it really all depends on if the paths named [49847]FT really should all have the same name in your style or not. It could be that the locator branch fixes a bug that prevented them having the same name when they should have for example. ..Steve
