[mkgmap-dev] Mapsource crash when sending maps

Hello all,

i am trying to send a map i created with mkgmap (and splitter) to my garmin and mapsource sops sending the map with the following error.

This only happens with map i did build by my self. I did the following releases

1866 windows
1973 linux
1978 linux

I am compiling with

java -ea  -Xmx3000m -jar /home/carsten/osm/tools/mkgmap-r1978/mkgmap.jar --style-file=/home/carsten/osm/garmin/styles/roadmap --max-jobs=4 --link-pois-to-ways --generate-sea=polygons,extend-sea-sectors,close-gaps=6000 --reduce-point-density=5.4 --index --transparent --adjust-turn-headings --ignore-maxspeeds --ignore-turn-restrictions --remove-short-arcs=4 --description="roadbike_hessen_30-06-2011" --location-autofill=1 --route --country-abbr=de --country-name=Germany --mapname=61010000 --family-id=6101 --product-id=1 --series-name="roadbike_hessen_30-06-2011" --family-name="roadbike_hessen_30-06-2011" --overview-mapname=mapset --area-name="hessen" -c template.args

I am splitting with 

java -Xmx3000m -ea -jar /home/carsten/osm/tools/splitter/splitter.jar  --geonames-file="/home/carsten/osm/osm-data/cities1000.zip" --max-nodes=600000 --overlap=4000 --max-areas=255 --description="roadmap_hessen" --mapid="61010000" --max-nodes="600000" --no-trim --overlap="4000" --status-freq="600" --output-dir="/home/carsten/osm/work/road-hessen" /home/carsten/osm/osm-data/europe/germany/hessen.osm.pbf

Any ideas ? Is there any possibility to narrow the problem, or to do some debugging ?
