[mkgmap-dev] POI address to points with 3-byte TYP IDs
From n Willink nw at pinns.co.uk on Mon Oct 3 18:13:14 BST 2011
mkgmap can cope with extended POIs as they are located at a separate block in the RGN subfile. Interestingly, such pois can have a type with max of 0x2FF1F , with custom pois at 0x011500+ so there is plenty of scope. HOWEVER,your gps / mapseource might not be able to render them -- View this message in context: http://gis.638310.n2.nabble.com/POI-address-to-points-with-3-byte-TYP-IDs-tp6850569p6855768.html Sent from the Mkgmap Development mailing list archive at Nabble.com.
