[mkgmap-dev] [PATCH v3] Precompiled sea
From WanMil wmgcnfg at web.de on Sun May 13 22:06:54 BST 2012
Hi, I've changed the format of the precompiled sea files. It now uses common OSM or PBF format. As an advantage it is possible to modify the precompiled files using JOSM. So floodings can be removed with JOSM. The disadvantage is that the files are bigger in size (at least for .osm.gz). But I think that's acceptable. I've uploaded all precompiled sea tiles to http://www.navmaps.eu/wanmil/sea_2012_03_31.zip. The zip file must be extracted to a directory and this directory must be given in the parameter --precomp-sea=<dir>. It is now also possible to use the --generate-sea=polygon or multipolygon option and the --generate-sea=land-tag=xxx=yyy option.
