[mkgmap-dev] splitter maximum tile size

Hi,

regarding thread 
http://www.mkgmap.org.uk/pipermail/mkgmap-dev/2012q1/013611.html there 
is a maximum tile size that can be processed. Is this limit considered 
by splitter?
