Hi Steve, here are my thoughts about it: --latin1 should be removed it's the same as --code-page=1252 --index default on could break map-creation on older machines, don't know if this would be good --createbounds keep or put it in a separate tool, maybe together with create precompiled sea --location-autofil is needed in all regions were boundaries are not complete (which are many regions, if you leave EU or US) --levels should be removed. You can use resolution in style, or am I wrong? --name-tag-list could also be removed, can be handled in style eg. name:en=* {set name='${name}'} --add-pois-to-lines keep, you'll need it to draw POI on a line feature. Eg. ford=yes, hiking routes... --pois-to-areas-placement: How to solve this in style-file? It would be better to make it default on --coastlinefile obsolet --generate-sea could stay as is. precompiled sea is not a solution for everyone, eg. if you need always actual coastline-data Henning
