[mkgmap-dev] wrong elevationprofiles

Hi Henning,
The elevation plot of your Oregon is not derived from the mkgmap garmin map, but from the world DEM basemap. The altitudes are very rough unless you have bought a Topographic map.
As far as I know mkgmap can't make a DEM map yet, which is needed to make such profiles on the gps unit.
