[mkgmap-dev] wrong elevationprofiles

Hi Minko Talking about DEM elevations, the hiking map of http://openmaps.eu is a free DEM map made with cgpsmapper, so maybe the DEM code is known outside Garmin? _______________________________________________ have checked one of the imgs containing DEM from the site you quoted - although cgpsmapper was perhaps used to create the imgs in the tdb file he mentions the 'legitimate' use of Garmins' MPC - see http://developer.garmin.com/web-device/mapsource-product-creator I have a feeling that although Stan has tried to decode the DEM structure, his cgpsmapper is still not offering DEM. Would be great if it did ! The set-profile=1 only works if contour lines are included - in fact I've noticed mkgmap automatically sets it to '0' in the tdbfile if no contours are found. ..Nick -- View this message in context: http://gis.19327.n5.nabble.com/wrong-elevationprofiles-tp5755383p5755408.html Sent from the Mkgmap Development mailing list archive at Nabble.com.
