Hi Manning,

forget my question. The upload='false' does the trick, JOSM doesn't complain any more when reading the file :-)

Hi Manning,

are you able to open the xml output of splitter in JOSM without converting it first?  If yes, how?
I always get a message like this:

    Could not read file 'test.osm'.
Error is:
Missing attribute 
    'version' on OSM primitive with ID 20974104. (at line 4, column 55)
