[mkgmap-dev] bridges as polygons

Interesting to see that Garmin caters for bridges as polygons (surface cover areas) with HGT_DP as an additional height attribute. This would/could avoid the old draworder problem of lines. At the moment it seems mkgmap does not allow for such a possibility. It made be think about the following: polygons can get parsed as lines , ie pedestrian, forest etc but lines ,however thick, can not be parsed as polygons, unless they are drawn as polygons. Just a thought. -- View this message in context: http://gis.19327.n5.nabble.com/bridges-as-polygons-tp5773691.html Sent from the Mkgmap Development mailing list archive at Nabble.com.
