[mkgmap-dev] Bogus anti-island warnings for tiny natural=coastline
From Marko Mäkelä marko.makela at iki.fi on Mon Mar 10 12:53:11 GMT 2014
Hi, I am getting bogus warnings like this: 2014/03/10 12:31:16 WARNING (SeaGenerator): 63240002.osm.pbf: Converting anti-island starting at http://www.openstreetmap.org/?mlat=60.217808&mlon=25.309372&zoom=17 into an island as it is surrounded by water This tiny natural=coastline polygon http://www.openstreetmap.org/way/241289746 represents a tiny islet in the Baltic sea. It has land on the left. I would prefer to see a "very small shape" warning like this instead, so that I can ignore it: 2014/03/10 12:31:17 WARNING (ShapeMergeFilter): 63240003.osm.pbf: very small shape near http://www.openstreetmap.org/?mlat=60.312562&mlon=26.259787&zoom=17 signed area in high prec map units: 1188 It would be nice if this "very small shape" warning echoed the tags or even the OSM ID of the shape. (Of course, only if the information is easily available; it might have already been thrown out during the translation.) Marko
