[mkgmap-dev] restriction relation edge cases
From WanMil wmgcnfg at web.de on Sun Mar 30 12:04:05 BST 2014
Hi Gerd, the wiki documents: "Restriction refers only to appropriate type of vehicle. (you can use type=restriction:<type> + restriction= or type=restriction + restriction:<type>=[1]) " From that comment I read that the tag restriction=no_right_turn is wrong and can be ignored, so either use 2) or ignore the complete turn restriction because it's wrong (according to the wiki). WanMil > Hi all, > > how should mkgmap interpret this restriction? > http://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/2198414 > > restriction=no_right_turn > restriction:motorcar=no_right_turn > restriction:motorcycle=no_right_turn > > 1) Is it correct? > I'd prefer to have either restriction=<turn> > or a list of restriction:*=<turn> > > 2) I guess it means that the no_right_turn restriction applies only > to motorcar and motorcycle. > > > If it is correct, mkgmap has to ignore the restriction=<turn> tag > as that would include all vehicles. > > Gerd > > > > > _______________________________________________ > mkgmap-dev mailing list > mkgmap-dev at lists.mkgmap.org.uk > http://www.mkgmap.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/mkgmap-dev >
