Hi Steve,

I don't expect fully working Unicode search yet. But for a map with 
multiple countries there is no good solution.

I tried to catch the string, which caused problem. I got '??', when 
displayed on console. Probably display procedure does replacement too 
and my java understanding is too weak to add a code for hex dump.
