[mkgmap-dev] Debugging city/state indexing

Hi Nelson, the best way to get a good index is to use the bounds parameter. The input file can be found here: http://www.mkgmap.org.uk/download/mkgmap.html and here: http://osm.thkukuk.de/data/ example usage: --bounds=bounds-latest.zip See also the --location-autofill option. To verify the result you can use echotags in the style, e.g. highway=living_street { echotags "This is a living_street" } Gerd > Date: Tue, 20 May 2014 01:46:53 -0300 > From: naoliv at gmail.com > To: mkgmap-dev at lists.mkgmap.org.uk > Subject: [mkgmap-dev] Debugging city/state indexing > > Is it possible to see how mkgmap is indexing some objects?
