[mkgmap-dev] NPE with mkgmap 3320

...and now for the interesting part:

Declaring the offending method synchronized, e.g.

public *synchronized* int compareTo(RoadDef other) {
...
}

solved the problem for me.
I don't think this is a general solution, cause the main problem probably
lies a lot deeper... :?
