[mkgmap-dev] Issues with barrier=*

Hi Thanks for the tip. Not sure why I have missed that option, I thought I had read through the documentation before I started creating my own maps. I have tried it out and it is working now. For clarity this is now the options in my config file that I use to create the map. In case something should be done differently. housenumbers code-page=1252 read-config=mkgmap.bounds add-pois-to-areas country-name=Norway country-abbr=NOR gmapsupp max-jobs=6 route poi-address location-autofill=is_in,nearest output-dir=/var/www/html/norway description="Norway" copyright-message="(c) OpenStreetMap contributors" style-file=/home/helge/OSM/helge-style style=default make-poi-index process-destination process-exits index remove-ovm-work-files=true tdbfile verbose link-pois-to-ways read-config=kart-norge/template.args … Helge +47 90750906 > On 29 Dec 2014, at 10:16, Gerd Petermann <gpetermann_muenchen at hotmail.com> wrote: > > Hi Helge, > > I tried to reproduce the problem with r3390, but it seems to work correctly in MapSource. > > I used these options: > java -jar d:\mkgmap\dist\mkgmap_r3390.jar --latin1 --route --nsis --index --link-pois-to-ways helge.osm.pbf > > and with car mode I am not routed through the barrier (tried several points north and south). > 1) Make sure that you use the --link-pois-to-ways option > 2) If that doesn't help, please try to reproduce the problem with the attached file > and let me know the options. > 3) Or maybe it is a problem in the device, e.g. two different routable maps enabled for the same area? > > Gerd > > > Date: Sun, 28 Dec 2014 18:04:48 +0100 > From: helge at helge.net <mailto:helge at helge.net> > To: mkgmap-dev at lists.mkgmap.org.uk <mailto:mkgmap-dev at lists.mkgmap.org.uk> > Subject: [mkgmap-dev] Issues with barrier=* > > Hi > > I am using the latest mkgmap (and have tried some older versions as well). What I see is that barrier=* tags with either motor_vehicle=no or motorcar=no still creates a route through the barrier. > > I noticed this when my GPS sent me through this node: https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/1276408049 <https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/1276408049> > > My GPS is a Nüvi 3597 with the latest software from Garmin. > > I am using mkgmap with the default style. I have also tried to work with the default style from the extras folder.
