Hi Diego, I think --x-split-name-index is the option you are looking for. ciao, Gerd ________________________________________ Von: mkgmap-dev-bounces at lists.mkgmap.org.uk <mkgmap-dev-bounces at lists.mkgmap.org.uk> im Auftrag von Diego Massanti <diego at massanti.com> Gesendet: Mittwoch, 30. Hello there, i have just started to use mkgmap a few days ago and managed to do everything i wanted without issues. However, i have a question that i can not find already answered anywhere: The fact that address search only works (on a garmin device) when the search string starts with the exact same characters of the matches is a limitation on the Garmin OS, on mkgmap, or am i doing something wrong ? For example, if the street name is “Manuel Belgrano”, and i search for “belgrano”, i will never get a match, however, if i search for “manuel”, i will get a match. Same happens for cities. Any help on this would be appreciated. Thanks. // Diego _______________________________________________ mkgmap-dev mailing list mkgmap-dev at lists.mkgmap.org.uk http://www.mkgmap.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/mkgmap-dev
