[mkgmap-dev] Anyone determine which linetypes are NOT visable in BaseCamp?

Huh? I can define the width of a way, its color, whether it is dashed or solid in my TYP file. Are you saying I don't need a TYP file to make a dashed, brown line of width 5 pixels with hex code 0x1007 that is then assigned via a style rule to an OSM way? If I do not then I agree; I don't understand anything about TYP files. Can you explain in a little more detail what you are trying to tell me?
