[mkgmap-dev] Feature Request: mkgmap able to create gmap archive (BaseCamp)

It looks as you have a version quite similar to the one in the mkgmap 
repo as it supports the same options. But with some different handling 
of file encodings.
Possibly an 'older' version or an adapted version of the mkgmap repo 
version. I can't tell you.

Verbose option: sounds like a confirmation for me.... if you want to be 
sure about the message on your end, just run it with verbose flag on a 
map built with mkgmap.... I would not be surprised if you get the same 
message too... ;-)
