[mkgmap-dev] Commit r3971: - roadNameConfig_v1.patch by Carlos Davida which adds more countries and languages

Hi all,

I am not sure what to think about the suggestions. My understanding of the feature is that it can help to ease address search,
but this only works when the user is able to guess the list of prefix1 words, correct?
So, when you create the map for your own, use whatever you like, else I would try to keep the list short so that it only contains
the most obvious prefixes. In Germany we also have prefixes like An,  Auf, Beim, Zum  etc. but they are not used that often, so I did not
add them to the sample.

Reg. suffixes I am not so sure, they are probably less harmfull.

Hi,

I propose to add for France "Cours" and "Impasse".
You can find sometime "Cour" in a street name but I think this is a
spelling mistake.
