[mkgmap-dev] r4006: 1st alpha version to write DEM data

Hi Gerd,
I think the problem is, the reduction ratio is neither depending on the
size and amount of nodes. So I doubt there will be good results without
somehow analysing the hgt-files or an pre compiled DEM file. But as you
said before, it's an minor problem at the moment.
