[mkgmap-dev] [mkgmap-svn] Commit r4439: merge from trunk r4437

After running r4439 I found a new folder in my working directory named e/, inside some gpx files.
What is the need of these? Attached examples result from rendering RegBez. Koeln <http://download.geofabrik.de/europe/germany/nordrhein-westfalen/koeln-regbez.html>.
