Sorry for the later response, but it took some time until I got feedback from the reporters of the problem about my changes to fix it. The reason is: with very old Garmin devices, you should not modify the background as this could have lead to problems. With some new devices, you have to modify the background, means you need a polygone 0x04b with draworder 1, and only this polygone with this draw order.
