Hi Ticker, I find compressed Mdr15 in AdriaTOPO 2.40 and other locked Garmin maps. Don't remember where I got it, it was a link posted by Andrzej some years ago. What I was really looking for was if the encoding for string Mdrs was specified anywhere, rather than just the charset, but couldn't see anything obvious. Also the compressed string format, but I haven't found an example yet.
