Hi Diego,

To add a typ file to your map and to the NSIS installer see examples on
https://github.com/Jorisbo/Mkgmap-Mapnik-Style-Garmin
You'll also find a windows build.cmd file to generate a map with splitter, mkgmap and nisis including creating a typefile and an example of the NSIS /NSI file used.

Thank you very much for these precious informations !
Why do you think that I miss contours and DEM if i transfer only some tiles to the device? Also the style looks different… do I have to include my TYP file in the installer ? How ?

PS: about the fragmentation I agree with you, but still other maps are very fast, so I guess there is something wrong in my map. Maybe too many details at low zoom levels, or wrong contours… i am trying again and again compiling ten times a day, but still I can’t understand…

PPS: should I reply to the list or directly to user emails?
